Mark Lonergan is the Founder and Managing Partner of Lonergan Partners, Inc. Since 2001, Mark has created a team of world class recruiters who focus on providing the best technology industry executives for CEO, Board of Directors and senior management roles.
In his executive recruiting career, Mark has led over 300 projects, more than half of which were CEO and Board of Director assignments for technology companies around the world. His recent work includes making senior placements at: Silicon Graphics [NASDAQ: SGIC], Xilinx [NASDAQ: XLNX], Virgin Mobile [NYSE: VM], ZiLog [NASDAQ: ZILG], Yipes and Tellabs [NASDAQ:TLAB].
Prior to founding Lonergan Partners, Mark was the Managing Partner for the Silicon Valley offices of Heidrick & Struggles, Inc. [NASDAQ: HSII]. Mark co-founded and later managed Heidrick’s global Telecommunications and Internet Practices teams composed of seventy-five executive search teams around the world. Prior to his work with Heidrick & Struggles, Mark was Vice President, Sales and Marketing, at ADC Telecommunications, a $2 Billion public telecommunications equipment supplier [NASDAQ: ADCT] in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Mark also spent ten years with Tymnet (now a subsidiary of British Telecom) in positions of increasing responsibility including District Manager, Eastern Region Manager, and Vice President of Field Operations.
Mark received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. Mark is active in his community, where he coaches youth sports, works as a minister in his church, and plays as much golf as his wife will let him. He lives with his family in Woodside, California.
